Craft time- Aerospace! We made a glider out of wooden pegs and popsicle sticks. The girls made their gliders extra pretty by adding some crystal stickers while the boys went with stripes. Wonder if this happens in airlines too?

Innovation and Hurrah! our fidget spinners are ready. The children had a great time spinning their own, genuinely handmade, fidget spinners.
The take-away-home project - Umbrellas, were decorated, as the pictures show. Time to re-word the rhyme, ‘Rain rain go away’ to ‘Rain rain pour today’ so we can go out in the rain with our Haute-couture umbrellas designed by those little hands of the Summer Slammers
Uncle Suhairi, got us moving and grooving again with 'dancercise'. Given the temperature today, he picked 'Cruel Summer' as the theme for the exercise! Apt? Today's programme also included callisthenics.
Sports: It was time to work on our passing skills. Did you know, that in Rugby the ball has to be passed behind the person passing the ball? Interesting contrast to some other game, don't you think? Uncle Denis and Uncle Sathish are pictured, busy developing Rugby drills and skills with the children.
