THE INFANT COMMUNITY AND THE EXTENDED DAY SESSIONS

Hello everyone,

We hope you have had a good week? In this update, the order of news is from the Mandarin Immersion Programme ('bian dang ban'),  followed by the irrepressibly cute Infant Community and, of course, the Extended-Day and the 'Hindi Milap'.  

Do remember:

Monday, 20th May 2018 is a public holiday and therefore we are not in session.

Hello Parents,

Welcome to another update from the Bian Dang Ban. We trust you had a good week. To all the mummies out there, hope you liked the little surprise made just for you! Much has been happening in the past two weeks, please scroll down to view some of the work done in class.

Infant Community

Happy times in the IC, free play in the garden, we had fun meeting the seniors (children from the CASA classes). Sophie, one of the CASA children, was very curious about our INFANT COMMUNITY. She took the initiative to ask Vihaan some questions and they had a happy exchange. 

We celebrated Mother's Day and we hope that you liked the craft that your children made for you. Almost everyone was happy to sing the Mother's day song and we had just a few tears, here and there, when the word 'Mummy' was sung! Quite natural and all in good fun.

很高兴我们又迎来了新的一周，度过了愉快的时光。我们在花园里自由活动时偶然遇到了CASA班的孩子，CASA班的Sophie对我们INFANT COMMUNITY 非常好奇，她主动蹲下询问Vihaan一些问题，他们交流得非常愉快。

当然我们也迎来了一个重要的节日 - 母亲节。我们可爱的宝贝在唱母亲节的歌曲时非常开心，也有宝贝有些许的不快，因为歌曲让他们想到了妈妈，有一个宝贝唱到一半，眼睛里竟然有泪光.....

बगीचे में IC का फ्री प्ले का समय था, हमने सीनियर्स (CASA कक्षाओं के बच्चे) से मिलने का मौका मिला । CASA के बच्चों में से एक सोफी, हमारी समुदाय के बारे में बहुत उत्सुक थी। उसने विहान से कुछ सवाल करने लगी और विहान उन सारे सवालों के खुशी खुशी जवाब दिया। यह एक सुंदर द्रिश्य था।

हमने मदर्स डे मनाया और हमें उम्मीद है कि आपको वह तस्वीरें पसंद आया जो आपके बच्चे आपके लिए  बनाए हैं। मातृ दिवस के गीत को गाते हुए लगभग हर कोई खुश था और हमारे पास बस थोड़ा सा आंसू थे, यहाँ और जब मम्मी शब्द गाया जाता था!

MONTESSORI EXTENDED-DAY Hello Parents, We are back with our update on the happenings in the Montessori Extended Day. We have been having some interesting discussions during group time. Some new exercises were done in the English Language Arts. Children were given an exercise to write sentences describing the characters on the worksheet. They found the exercise amusing and fun! It was nice to see them discuss with each other and take each other's views as they attempted the worksheet.   Do scroll down to get a view of some of the activities done in class.
