Summer Slam 2018 Week 1 - July 18

Day 3 began with a quick touch up of the handprint dinosaur project.
During this time, we got to hear a sweet conversation between two new friends while making their dinosaurs.

…my triceratops looks so real. I think I have magic in my hands! …really can you do for me… please! (Conversation between a five year old and his new friend a little three year old). The big guy did not want to disappoint his new little friend and so came quickly to me asking me to make hers just like his. He added, if it cannot be just like his, he will give his art work to her!

It was time for a lesson with Coach Annie. Children were excited to go for their lesson. Thank you for sending the children dressed in comfortable clothes.

Can we make something to eat? We are hungry... so we decided to do a quick cookery. We made dinosaur Sandwiches. The pictures will tell you the rest.
A DIY dinosaur hat is in the making. We also decorated the wall hanging of the rice artwork.

We had an extended sports lesson upon request. Children are now learning the rules of the game and are trying out the skills they have been practising. Dribbling, shooting, passing… our coaches say that we are doing a good job!

We have been encouraging the children to bring books on dinosaurs to read aloud as well as for children to read to each other.  We would like your cooperation in sending us the books with your child’s name so we can ensure that it is returned to the correct owner.
